Check for Server Outages

You may also come across the latest updates or complaints from other users on platforms like X, Facebook, or Reddit.
Clear Cache
This option is only available for Android users. If you are on Android, go to Settings > Apps > Truecaller > Storage, and then tap on “Clear Cache.” This can sometimes help fix the error.
If you are using an iPhone, you will not find this option, so simply skip this method and move on to the next one.
Uninstall and Reinstall
This method works on both Android and iPhone. While most of the time the error happens because of a server outage that gets fixed within a few hours, you can still try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to check if it helps.
On Android, press and hold the Truecaller app icon and select “Uninstall.” On iPhone, press and hold the app icon, choose “Remove App,” and then tap “Delete App.” After that, open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the Truecaller app again. Once installed, open the app and log in to your account.
