5. Now go back and again go to the Downloads tab
6. Select Options
7. Now open the Connections tab
8. Change Connection speed/type to High speed
9. Change the maximum connection number to 32 
10. Click Ok to save it

1. Open the Internet Download Manager and then click on Downloads and then make the Speed Limiter off.
2. In the next step, click on Downloads, and in Speed Limiter click on Settings.
3. Now you have to set the speed to just lower than your current connection speed.
4. Click on Downloads button again and choose options. There under the Connection tab, select the high bandwidth Connection type/speed. Click on the Ok button to save changes
5. Now go to “Option” and you have to click on “Default max. conn. number”
6. Then click on the “Connection tab” and then change the default max. conn. number to 16 and then tap “OK”
7. Now test your download speed.

1. Open IDM and go to the Downloads tab
2. Now open the Connections tab
3. Change Connection speed/type to High speed
4. Change the maximum connection number to 32
5. Click Ok to save it
6. Now open Registry editor by pressing Windows + R
7. Type regedit and hit enter
8. It will open Registry windows, now go to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> DOWNLOAD MANAGER
9. Right-click on the right panel and click on New
10. Select DWORD 32-bit VALUE
11. Name it as “Connection speed”
12. Click on it and change the base to Decimal
13. Change the value data to 2576980377 and click OK
14. Close the registry editor and open IDM to test the speed.

1. Download IDM Optimizer Tool from here
2. Open the folder and Run the IDM Optimizer tool
